Pianathon Final Bonus Track – The Godfather – Medley – C. Copolla & N.Rota

So the time has come to play the last pianathon request from last year… it will be the famous soundtrack from The Godfather. The theme from The Godfather has already been featured in the pianathon so I have played a short medley as an extension (Mazurka-Waltz-Main Theme). This song request is from our family friend Julie in Paris. Encore, un grand merci pour votre don. Un très beau choix de morceau pour terminer l’aventure du pianathon. Pianathon Bonus Track 4 – Beethoven – Für Elise

This is probably one of the most played pieces on the piano :). As a teenager, I always refused to learn/play it as all the school kids played it. So now that my teenage rebel phase is over and as this lovely Beethoven piece was requested, I have decided to play it after all ;). Für Elise was requested by my friend Aleks and her family in Munich. Hvala još jednom na donaciji :). Dedication goes to Aleks, Simon, Tim and Nina! Nadam će vam se svidjati :).

 

Pianathon Bonus Track 3 – J. Barry -Goldfinger Bond Theme

Next on the Bonus track series will be the famous Bond theme Goldfinger. This song dedication goes to my friend Celine in Boston. Many thanks again for your generous donation on my last fundraiser :). You asked for a movie soundtrack, e.g. Game of Thrones, as I don’t watch it (I know, crazy!), I decided to go with an older film classic, hope you will still appreciate this one ;)!

I chose Abba’s Thank you for the music. A big thank you to all of you for supporting me along this challenge throughout this year of 2016.
